HOST
Is your young professionals organization (YPO) or community interested in hosting the Kansas Young Professionals Summit? The Summit gets passed around the state of Kansas each year affording the opportunity for YPOs and communities to bring young professionals to their hometowns and also makes the Summit more accessible to a wider range of people.
The first step to hosting the Summit is to study the mission and goals of what the Kansas Young Professionals Summit tries to accomplish. These should remain at the fore-front of every decision that is made in regard to hosting this extraordinary event for young people in our great state.
Keep in mind that your community does not have to have an official YPO to host, however, you would need to have a strong passion for the importance and impact of the next generation in your community.
All of the information you’ll need including mission, goals, important dates and deadlines, FAQs and application are provided below.
Mission
The mission of the Kansas Young Professionals Summit is to provide an opportunity for young Kansans, whether a part of an official YPO or not, to celebrate the diversity of their individual communities and work together to equip and encourage a strong generation of people that want to make Kansas a better place for young people to live, work and play.
Goals
To educate—in three separate areas: professional development, personal development and YPO development. Topics should be relevant to young people and inspire us to gather, think, and engage.
To network and support young professionals—encourage collaboration and unity among young people across Kansas.
