After only two weeks of open registration for the first-ever Kansas Young Professionals Summit, the event has already caught the attention of a variety of communities throughout the state. People are registering from communities large and small, some are members of YP groups and some are not.
To date, nine communities will be represented on April 15th. They include Arlington, Garden City, Hutchinson, Inman, Manhattan, Pittsburg, Salina, Topeka and Wichita. Many others have shown an interest. With nearly a month to go before the Summit, we are certain it will be a success.
We encourage attendees to share information about the Summit with their friends, families and co-workers. Also, be sure to friend or follow us via your favorite social networking site.
“The most difficult and most important part of putting together a brand-new event like the YP Summit is making sure that every person in our demographic is aware that it’s happening,” Bailey Basinger-Stiggins, YP Summit Team Chairperson said. “We don’t want to get the end of this and have people say, ‘That sounds like a great event. I wish I would have known about it.’ It’s a tall order in our first year, but we have an excellent team.”
